Franklin Hornsby, 79, of Toledo, OH, died Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Ebeid Hospice Residence. Born October 23, 1938, in Harlan, KY, he was the son of Wiley and Lois (Thomas) Hornsby. A US Air Force veteran, he was employed by City Auto Stamping for 28 years and then was employed by P&J Industries for 13 years, retiring in 2008. He loved painting and the outdoors.
Franklin is survived by his nephew, Sean Covert, brother, Palmer Hornsby, special little girl, Bailey Yoast and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Hornsby and sisters, Della Tackett, Charlene Marcum and Sania Covert.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 Noon, Monday, September 10, 2018, at Heritage Baptist Church, 5542 Lewis Ave, Toledo, OH 43612, where funeral services will follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
